Seabean Studios West is one of the sponsors for this upcoming benefit concert February 19th at the Theatre at Sycuan Casino in El Cajon featuring Grammy-award winning vocalist Juice Newton!! The opening act is Seabean Studios West owner & music instructor D.C. Hathaway!!! It's a benefit to raise money and awareness for Dystonia research. Dystonia is the incurable disease that owner D.C. Hathaway was diagnosed with in 2005. It involves involuntary muscle spasms and there are many forms of Dystonia including Parkinson's Disease. D.C. Hathaway has Spasmodic Dysphonia that affects the voice where the muscles around the vocal cords spasm uncontrollably. Also performing at this show is world renowned guitar instrumentalist Billy McLaughlin, who lives with Focal Dystonia in his left hand and whose story is nothing short of INSPIRATIONAL!!
